Tiaras

I've always loved tiaras, the campier the better. So I knew I wanted to wear one. Where's the tiara in my wedding photos? Well, June 21st at noon is not the right time to wear a sparkly piece of jewelry outdoors. Also, as much as I love playing with tiaras, they really are not my style.

Some tiaras I liked:

I even bought one hair comb, from Johanna Forbes Designs, but decided against wearing it because it was too white and I couldn't figure out how to get it to stay put in my hair, which will be held by no comb.

Necklaces

I was trying to find an appropriate choker to wear with the dress. I even bought two necklaces off eBay:

But they didn't feel right with the dress; too sparkly and trying too hard to be the center of attention. I'll wear them to a concert or the opera or something. In the end, my mother offered to let me borrow her pearls, which gave me something borrowed as well as a really nice necklace with no cost to me (except, of course, having bought those two necklaces, but they were cheap).

While looking for an appropriate necklace, I discovered Saori's web site, and fell in love with this:

Totally unworkable, since it's $600 or so, but lovely. I told Noel he can buy me anything on her web site at any time, no need to ask permission.
